Yanmar Marine diesel engines
Reliability and economy will always be the most important parameters when choosing a marine engine. With these characteristics, Japanese Yanmar diesel engines have long established themselves as leaders in the engine-building world. Yanmar engines provide maximum performance over the long service life, and their compactness and low weight, combined with unrivaled smoothness, leave no choice for sophisticated boat owners.
For sailing yachts, the GM, YM, and JH series engines will not only become a reliable power plant that provides movement in a calm and facilitate entry into a complex parking lot but can also serve as a source of electricity and drive various hydromechanical devices. In addition, using Sail Drive columns will significantly simplify the engine installation and reduce speed losses when sailing.
Yanmar offers a wide range of diesel engines up to 662 kW (900 hp) for powerboats and yachts. The motors can be used with various reverse gears, SternDrive speakers, and POD systems.
Constant modernization allows all Yanmar diesel engines to meet the most stringent global environmental standards.
- Yanmar marine engines of the GM/YM series. Yanmar GM/YM series engines are designed for sailing yachts. Their primary purpose is to calm movement and assist when entering a problematic parking lot.
- Yanmar marine engines JH series. Like the GM/YM series, the Yanmar JH engines are designed to sail yachts. The primary purpose of the engines of this series is to move in calmly and help when entering a problematic parking lot.
- Yanmar marine engines BY series. Created in collaboration with the world-famous BMW automobile concern, Yanmar BY series engines are available in two configurations: 4 and 6 cylinders, Common Rail fuel supply system, and direct fuel injection.
- Yanmar marine engines LHA/LPA/LYA series. The main features of this series are: a mechanical speed controller, direct fuel injection; the use of various modifications of turbocharging and charge air coolers; using Sterndrive Mercruiser Bravo or Yanmar ZT350 speakers.
- Yanmar marine engines LY3 series. Designed for pleasure craft. The new models of the LY3 series are distinguished by an electronic regulator of the injection pump with a solenoid drive, which is controlled using signals from various sensors, a modified fuel injection system with electro-hydraulic variable valve timing, and improved injectors.
- Yanmar marine engine CX/SY series. Six and 8-cylinder diesel engines with vertical or V-shaped arrangement of cylinders, with seawater cooling system.
